Whitetail Edge Wraps Season 3, Looks Forward to Next Seasons Adventures

Whitetail Edge, the web-based hunting show chronicling the hunts of Ben Rising and his team, has officially wrapped up its 3rd season and filming has already begun for season 4.

“Each year we strive to make Whitetail Edge a better show and to teach both beginners and seasoned hunters how to up their game and harvest mature whitetail bucks more often,” says Rising. He goes on to say, “All of our hunts are fair-chase and self-guided. We work hard, just like our viewers, scouting our leases, setting up and tearing down our own sets, placing and checking cameras, and everything else that comes with hunting season prep.”

Season 3 kicked off with Rising heading to Kentucky to hunt the “Jason” buck on a piece of property the team had been prepping to hunt during the early season. We also watched as team member Chad Spangler sought redemption in Ohio with a monster buck named “Hook”.

Thane Piatt found success in Ohio after strategically planning his hunt and adapting his strategy in order to get in bow range of his target buck. Team member JD Piatt had his fair share of ups and downs, chasing a mature buck that he was unable to capture on film. Cody Griffin had set his sights on an Ohio booner he called “Splits”, only to find that the deer had been harvested by a neighbor, leading him to change his strategy and locate another mature whitetail to hunt during the muzzleloader season.

Ben saw a few setbacks in Illinois but his luck changed after an exciting rut hunt in Kansas as he harvests a mature 8-point alongside Whitetail Edge team member, Javin Mullet.

One of the most emotional hunts from this season happened as Ben Rising, in partnership with the One Wish Foundation, helped young man, Andrew, harvest a buck.

The entire Whitetail Edge team is looking forward to sharing with you all the adventures that season 4 has to offer.

“As Whitetail Edge grows and moves forward to season 4, we are excited to bring our audience even greater content, from the struggles to the success that come hand in hand when chasing giant whitetails,” says Rising.
