West Henrietta, NY – Scott Archery made headlines this week with an incredible number of podium finishes, gold medals, and Shooter of the Year titles. Scott was present at both the ASA Classic in Alabama and the US Outdoor Nationals in Indiana.
Most notable was Chance Beaubouef, who earned the title of Shooter of the Year in the Known Pro Division after a successful 2017 target season[KD1] . Additionally, TJ Strychalski was named the Men's Known-Pro Rookie of the Year, David Rose earned the Men's Pro Rookie of the Year, and Maddie Rutkowski earned Women's Rookie of the Year.
Also at ASA, Scott shooter Jeremy Elliot took home first place in the Known Pro Division, while Cara Kelly and Madison Rutkowski earned second and third, respectively, in the Female Pro Division.
In the same weekend, the US Outdoor Nationals and JOAD events were held in Indiana, where Scott shooter Kris Schaff and Curtis Broadnax each won two medals. Schaff won a silver for the Outdoor Nationals and a gold at the US Open, while Broadnax won a silver at JOAD and a gold for the Outdoor Nationals in the Junior Compound Division.
