Mule Deer Foundation Seeking Chief Operations Officer

Salt Lake City, Utah: The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) announced today that it is seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO) who will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations in the MDF headquarters office in Salt Lake City, Utah as well as Field Operations organizations.

"MDF is seeking a dedicated conservationist with significant experience in the shooting, hunting, and outdoor industry to help lead our organization as our Chief Operations Officer," commented MDF President and CEO, Miles Moretti. "This is a critical position in our executive team and will play a key role in managing and executing our strategic plan."

The Chief Operations Officer will oversee performance of marketing, office operations, field operations, and logistics departments to guide the team toward implementing the organization's mission. This position requires a Bachelor's or, preferably, a Master's degree in marketing or business management and at least 10 years in progressively more responsible positions in management or business. However, equally important to success will be a knowledge and understanding of the outdoor industry as well as a passion for wildlife conservation. The position will report directly to the President and CEO.
