West Henrietta, NY – Elite pro shooters Levi Morgan and Cara Kelly finished in first and second place respectively over the weekend at the ASA Illinois Pro-Am tournament and are both in prime positions in the 2016 Shooter of the Year race.

"This was yet another exciting weekend for Elite Archery," said Elite Archery President Eric Griggs. "Our shooters continue to outperform the competition, but what Levi did this weekend was nothing short of amazing. The level of accuracy our shooters are displaying with their Victory 37 bows has been incredible".

Archers took to the field in the legendary home of Superman, Metropolis, Illinois, to compete in the ASA Tournament. They faced hot and humid weather, with temperatures consistently reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Levi finished the tournament with one of the strongest margins ever, at a staggering 22 points ahead of the second place shooter. His win propelled him into the lead for Shooter of the Year by nine points, with only the ASA Classic to go. If he succeeds, this will be Morgan's 10th Shooter of the Year title in a row. Chance Beaubouef, fellow Elite pro shooter, is currently in 3rd place for the Shooter of the Year race .

Cara Kelley began the tournament stronger than ever with an impressive first day score of 210. Cara finished in second place for the tournament, but is sitting in first place for the female Shooter of the Year Award.

"My Impulse 31 has undoubtedly taken my shooting game to the next level," said Cara Kelly, "The bow performs flawlessly, every single time. I have never had more faith in my shooting than I do with my Impulse."

Next and final stop for ASA is the ASA Classic Championship August 5-7th in Fort Benning, Ga.
