Williamsburg, KY –Kentucky S3DA held their last regional 3-D qualifier of a very robust season on May 12th. This shoot took place at Green River State Park in Campbellsville, Kentucky and featured 178 archers participating in their respective class and division. Hundreds of youth archers in Kentucky participated in regional tournaments this year in order to qualify for the 2018 Kentucky S3DA 3-D State Championship with projections topping 370 archers expected to participate at the State Championship.
This same tournament last year featured rainy, windy, chilly conditions with a veritable sea of mud. “This year was a total turn around from last year’s “mudfest” at Green River. We could not have asked for a better day with a great turn out and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves despite the heat and ticks, but then again, it is Kentucky,” stated Mike Wilson, Range Official, “we wouldn’t know what to do with perfect conditions!"
