CSF Aligns With National Deer Alliance

April 28, 2016 (Washington, DC) - The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) and National Deer Alliance (NDA) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will enhance advocacy efforts for hunting across the country.

"Deer are the most commonly pursued and economically important big game species in North America. We look forward to our partnership with the NDA and their expanding membership base to elevate the concerns of deer hunters in the political process," said CSF President Jeff Crane.

"The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation has tremendous experience working at the highest level of government for our wildlife, delivering sound conservation policies," said Nick Pinizzotto, NDA CEO. "This partnership will provide the resources needed to continue working on the most important issues facing deer, hunters, and managers today."

NDA currently has a membership base of more than 200,000 sportsmen and women. The organization was established in 2014 as a membership-based advocacy organization for the deer hunting community, and since then has grown its support and membership significantly. Membership to NDA is free, sign up at http://nationaldeeralliance.com.

This MOU provides an opportunity for CSF and the NDA to join forces, ensuring the interests of sportsmen and women are heard in the halls of government. The recently signed MOU provides a clear framework for the two organizations to collaborate on wildlife management policies, hunter recruitment and retention efforts, hunting access issues, and will ultimately strengthen the voice of deer hunters nationally.
