West Henrietta, NY – The annual NFAA Las Vegas Shoot and Indoor World Cup Finals were held January 29 through January 31 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Vegas shoot, known as the largest and most prestigious indoor archery tournament in the World, attracts the best amateur and professional archers from around the Globe and includes 3-intense days of no error competition.

Over 3,000 archers from around the world participated this year, the most this tournament has ever seen. Each archer shot 30 arrows per day for a total of 90 arrows over the course of the tournament. Only those archers remaining with perfect scores of 900 after the three days of competition, participated in the final shoot-off At the end of the intense three day tournament, the Men's Pro Division field had been whittled down to only 5 shooters, each who had completed the competition with a perfect score of 900. Elite was represented by two of their pro-shooters in the final round, Logan Wilde and Chance Beaubouef. In an incredible display of their skill and accuracy, both Elite shooters secured a spot on the in the top three; Logan Wilde finished in 2nd place and Chance Beaubouef finished in 3rd.

"The Vegas shoot has always been the most prestigious tournament in my eyes. There is no other tournament that draws this number of archers from all over the world," said Chance Beaubouef. "I couldn't be happier with how I shot and how my equipment performed during the three days of competition. I shot one of my best rounds ever in a tournament a 300 30x, and was the leading 900 with 81x's. I was fortunate enough to shoot next to Logan Wilde on Sunday of competition, who shot amazing all week. It is always a pleasure shooting with him. I can't thank everyone enough for all of the support. It is an honor to be a part of such great companies in the Archery Industry. It makes my job so much easier knowing I have the best products on the market!"

Logan Wilde was also honored to be a part of such a large and prestigious event. "This was my third straight year shooting a 900 and it was also the toughest! Knowing so many great shooters kept missing, it made me have to focus harder on the task at hand," said Logan about the extreme pressure of the Vegas shoot. "With the new format over the last two years I knew I would have to come out strong. I shot two 10's with my first two arrows but got a little weak on my third and barely missed it out the bottom. After that I never missed a 10. My equipment performed flawlessly."

In conjunction with the Vegas Shoot, three Elite pro-shooters competed in the World Cup Finals. Reo Wilde, Logan Wilde and Chance Beaubouef qualified in the top 16 in the world for the final eliminations Saturday night. Reo advanced to the gold medal match. In a close competition, Reo walked away with the silver medal, putting Elite on the podium in the 2016 World Cup Final.

Elite had a great showing of amateurs for the Vegas tournament as well. In the young adult freestyle division, Curtis Broadnax and TJ Strychalski shot off for first place in very impressive fashion. Fellow Elite shooter Jacob Slusarz also finished 4th in the young adult division after an intense arrow to arrow battle shootoff for 3rd place. Factory Advisory Staff member Tim Ewers won the Bowhunter Flights division while Wade Grinage won the Freestyle Flights division with a perfect 900 in his first ever Vegas shoot.
In the Pro divisions, Elite newcomer Samantha Brenzel finished just 1 point behind the leaders in the women's division for a strong 4th place finish. Jeff Rogers and his Victory competed in the first place shoot off in the Senior Championship and walked away with 3rd place.

Having our pros win and perform with our equipment is always satisfying, but it's the amateur shooters that give me the greatest thrill.
