Elite Archery Pro Chance Beaubouef Wins at Superhero-City ASA

Henrietta NY, June 29, 2015: The story of victory and triumph doesn't always happen without a fight, and often times, adversity delivers an opportunity to dominate. The 2015 Archery Shooters Association Illinois Pro/Am in Metropolis, IL was no exception, and in a hard-fought battle amongst the nation's top 3D shooters, Elite Archery Professional Archer Chance Beaubouef secured his first win of the 2015 season.

Held at the Mermet Lake State Conservation Area, Elite shooters stormed the course to secure several of the top spots after day 1. After an intense day of shooting Levi Morgan locked up the lead with a score of 226, while teammates Chance Beaubouef and Adam Hayden shot 218 with Darrin Christenberry closely training at 214.

Further showcasing their talent and the shootability of their Elite bows, the second day of competition found Levi once again on top with an exceptional score of 444 and Chance close behind at 438. Competition remained tight throughout the 5 arrow shoot off, but with the aid of his blue, 68-pound Victory, Chance put his skills and concentration to the test with a perfectly placed 12-ring, final arrow to best Joby Shaw and Levi Morgan to top the podium.

Chance had this to say about the win, "This was one of the best weeks of archery for me. We went up Tuesday to prepare for the shoot. Metropolis puts on a shoot Tuesday-Thursday, so we decided to go up early and practice – while there I realized the more time I spend with my Victory the more I love this bow! Honestly, I know I won, and I absolutely couldn't be happier, but I know I left a lot points out on the range. I guess that's part of what drives us to compete on the level we do and partially what pushes us as Pros. It really is an honor to shoot with the best in the world".

After the last arrows flew, Elite shooters had displayed a dominating performance, taking 4 of the top 7 places. Bookending the podium were Chance Beaubouef in 1st place and Levi Morgan in 3rd with Adam Hayden and Darrin Christenberry finishing in 6th and 7th, respectively.

"The depth and talent contained within our team is incredible. They continue to prove that week after week, and what I find incredible is the way they support each other in the field. Whether it's the proving grounds of an ASA, IBO, NFAA or any other event, they're consistently putting their bow and themselves to the test while rooting each other on, which I believe is the reason we
continue to see an Elite jersey on the podium in nearly every discipline. It's a perfect marriage of world-class equipment with world-class talent", said Peter Crawford, Elite Archery President.
