USCA Seeking Staff for 2015 World University Games

The 2015 World University Games will be held in GwangJu Korea, July 3rd - 14th, 2015. The US Collegiate Archery Association will be funding a 3-person staff to support the World University Archery Team. If you are interested in serving on the staff for this team, please complete and submit the following form along with a list of your qualifications and previous experience in such roles (if any).

This form must be submitted no later than 15 April 2015 to Edward Kim at ekim@uscamail.com. Staff will be provided uniforms, and expenses for the event including room/board, airfare, and baggage fees. Staff must have a current passport.

Required:

1. Certified Coach of a USCAA club

2. Understanding and knowledge of World Archery competition rules

3. Understanding and knowledge of USCAA Code of Ethics for Coaches

4. Have current passport (must be valid through Jan 31st 2016)

Staff selection will include the following criteria:
1. Ability to work effectively with all athlete members of the 2015 team 2. Experience in day-to-day coaching of elite college athletes
3. Experience supporting elite college athletes at tournaments
4. Ability to work effectively with other college coaches
5. Experience traveling with groups of athletes
6. Prior International experience as a coach or team leader
7. Experience with either:

a. Recurve bow tuning and equipment
b. Compound bow tuning and equipment
