Thornton to Manage Easton Salt Lake Archery Center

Salt Lake City, UT - Easton Sports Development Foundation is pleased to announce the promotion of Trevor Thornton to Archery Center Manager at the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Trevor, who is a certified Level 3 Coach through USA Archery, will be responsible for the Easton Foundations regional archery activities. As Center Manager, Trevor will report directly to Robert Romero, Director of Centers. Trevor will be responsible for the management and growth of the Salt Lake Archery Center including promoting archery classes, seminars, programs, events and the development of new ideas to support archery in the Salt Lake area.

Trevor has lived in Utah for almost 25 years, living the past 15 in Toole, UT where he raised two children with his wife Lynette. Trevor's history with archery goes back that far as well, being introduced to archery by Wes Haas from Hoyt. Trevor said, "I was introduced to archery over 20 years ago by Wes Haas. I was hooked after the first time shooting. I knew I had to work in the industry so I applied for a job with Easton Technical Products."

Trevor has been a part of the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center since it opened in Spring 2014. He has been integral in its initial opening and its progress over the past months. His dedication and enthusiasm as well as his archery background will help the Center and the Foundations build on the network of training facilities that will support the growth of archery activities and strengthen our future Olympic archery teams. Trevor began his archery career at Easton Technical Products (ETP) in customer service and has had experience in a variety of ways, in marketing, promotions, trade shows, events and catalogs. Trevor's valuable experience in event management and in working with large numbers of event attendees will be put to good use at the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center.

"Trevor has been of great assistance getting the Easton Center up and running." stated Greg Easton, President of the Easton Foundations. "Trevor has a strong sense of the Easton culture and a great focus on customer service that will only continue to improve the Center. We look forward to how Trevor's leadership can now take the Easton Center to the next level...and beyond."

"I am very pleased Trevor accepted the opportunity to become the Salt Lake Archery Center Manager. Trevor is very dedicated, hardworking and a tremendous asset to our archery family. The great deal of experience he possesses in coaching archery, technology based knowledge and management, along with his positive 'get it done' attitude, makes him an excellent choice to manage our beautiful archery facility. Over the years, we have been very blessed in having great people within our organization and Trevor well compliments that tradition." stated Don Rabska, V.P. Easton Foundations.

"I have been involved with the Easton Family in one way or another for over 20 years." Trevor commented on his recent promotion, "I was fortunate to be able to work with Jim and Greg (Easton) on many different video shoots, and many years for the ATA Show. Having been given this chance to take the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center to the next level is a dream come true. I am excited to have this opportunity and to be back involved with the archery community."

Robert Romero, Director of Centers stated, "Trevor has been an important team member at our Salt Lake facility throughout our early stages of operation. I look forward to working with him and the entire Salt Lake center staff in an effort to make the center the best it can be."
