Lottery for Mobility Impaired Archery Hunt in Ohio

An increasing deer population, resulting in extensive damage to plant communities and an increased risk of deer/vehicle accidents has led the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Parks and Recreation to coordinate a mobility impaired hunter, archery only deer hunt at East Harbor State Park on Saturday, November 1. A random drawing through the Lakeshore Longbeards Chapter of the NWTF will be held to select 10 hunters with physical disabilities.

The hunt will take place at East Harbor State Park and all Ohio hunting laws/regulations will apply for these hunts. Hunters must purchase the required hunting license and deer permits and have them in their possession on the day of the hunt.

Interested applicants should submit a 3x5" post card with their printed name, complete address and daytime phone number to East Harbor State Park, 1169 North Buck Road, Marblehead, OH, 43440. Please submit only one entry.

Post cards must be post marked by October 18. Selected hunters will be notified and must attend a pre-hunt meeting at East Harbor State Park on the morning of their assigned hunt.
