Carpenter and Brown IBO National Champions for 2014

The IBO National Triple Crown has finished up and the National Champions have been named. The National Champions are determined by the combined scores from the three legs of IBO National Triple Crown. Mathews had two pro shooters win the award. Sharon Carpenter and Art Brown won the title in their respective classes.

In the Pro Female class, Sharon carpenter won the National Championship with a total score of 1151-30. Emily Veyna was third with a score of 1128-26. Mathews had six of the top ten finishers in the class. The rest of the top ten included: Ginger Morehead, 1115-24, 5th place; Tina Huntzinger, 1076-24, 7th place; Ann Marie Holowiak, 990-12, 9th place and Kaitlyn Price, 758-22 in 10th place.

In the Pro Senior class, Art Brown won the title with a combined score of 1200-41. Bill Sennick was second with a score of 1196-46 and Ray Young was third with a score of 1193-36. Mathews had six of the top ten finishers in the class. The rest of the top ten included: Duane Price, 1177-37, 5th place; Scott Price, 1158-39, 9th place and Joe Brooks, 1157-34 in 10th place.

In the Pro Male Release class, the top Mathews finisher was Brandon Reyes. Reyes had a score of 1231-55 and finished in third place. Tommy Gomez was seventh with a score of 1219-54 and Dan McCarthy was ninth with a score of 1218-51.
