Great Lakes Bowfishing Championship Won With 4,525 Pounds

The 30th annual Great Lakes Bowfishing Championship was held this past weekend May 18th & 19th on Saginaw Bay 2013 in Caseville Michigan.

Last year's second place finishers Dave Donley & Darrell Maggertt of Team PSE were looking for redemption. This year Dave brought his son Ryan Donley along for his first Bowfishing Championship. The weather was made to order as Team PSE went out Saturday on a quest for what should have been theirs last year.

At the weigh in Saturday night Team PSE was in first place with a whopping 3,961 pounds of rough fish after just a single day.

"We're ready for a good day tomorrow, too," said Donley.

Another picture-perfect day was on tap for Sunday and team PSE was back doing what they do best...shooting carp! Once the boats were all in, the water settled, and the fish weighed, Team PSE had captured first place with a mind- boggling total 4,525 pounds of rough fish, 2,600 pounds ahead of the second- place team.

PSE is a proud sponsor of the men from Riverdale, Michigan. When asked by PSE Michigan Rep Paul Penix how they felt about the win, Dave smiled and said

"That's good Stuff right there."
