SACRAMENTO, Calif. – On this week’s The Sporting Chef show on Sportsman Channel, Chef Scott Leysath makes a wish come true for an aspiring young chef, Rylie-Ann. Together, they make a wild game comfort food dish – quail mac and cheese. He's also joined by Stacy Lyn Harris, Susie Jimenez, Jay Veregge and Buddy T. Tune in for this exclusive content only on The Sporting Chef on Sportsman Channel, Sundays at 1:30 PM ET.
Rylie-Ann Cacay has been battling Crohn’s disease for the past few years. Medications, treatments and hospital visits have become a part of her life. When Make-A-Wish came around to ask Rylie-Ann what she might like, one thing came to mind right away. She wanted to go on an African photo safari. Make-A-Wish and NorCal Kenworth went right to work and made it happen. Next up on Rylie-Ann’s bucket list is to cook with Gordon Ramsay. Well, he wasn’t available, but The Sporting Chef was; watch Chef Leysath show Rylie-Ann and her sister how to cook fish and game!
Don’t miss on the show, Stacy Lyn Harris fries cornbread that would make her Grandma proud; Susie Jimenez makes a spicy wild turkey dip, plus Chef Jay Veregge cooks crispy salmon and Buddy smokes bone-in catfish.
