Whitetails Unlimited Sponsors Congressional Sportsman's Luncheon

Whitetails Unlimited sponsored the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation CWD Management Act Luncheon. The luncheon was held in Washington, DC on October 17 and was attended by various members of Congress and their staff. The purpose of the luncheon was to bring awareness to members of Congress of the potential detriment that CWD poses to whitetail herds.

“It’s crucial that we keep members of Congress informed of the threat CWD poses to white-tailed deer,” said Whitetails Unlimited Program Services Director Russ Austad. “Our hope is that together, sportsmen and members of Congress can create a solution to keeping CWD at bay.”
