Eugene, OR – As with countless other things, the current COVID situation has drastically affected competitive archery tournaments around the world. For the last 2 months archery tournaments have been either postponed or cancelled entirely.
World Archery has developed and launched the first online, international tournament and Bowtech is proud to announce that Bowtech Pro Shooter Paige Pearce (shooting from her kitchen in California), beat Linda Ochoa-Anderson (shooting from her basement), 145-142, to secure a spot in the Lockdown Knockout semifinals.
After the win, Paige shared “I’m really excited to be moving on to the Semi-finals. Shooting thin diameter outdoor arrows with only the baby X is incredibly challenging. Fortunately, with my Reckoning 38 and DeadLock technology tuning was a breeze and I can make those minute adjustments that make a difference for the win.”
With this victory, Pearce moves on to take on world champion Sara Lopez on May 15th.
