Recently, student archers from across the state met at Reading Archery Club in Reading, Pennsylvania to compete in the first 3-D Regional Qualifier of the 2021 competition season

Easton shooters, all fielding the legendary X10 arrow, took all 30 World Archery medals at the Lausanne World Cup event.

The National Field Archery Association Foundation (NFAAF) has announced a date change for 56th and 57th annual Vegas Shoot. The Vegas Shoot is the world’s largest indoor archery tournament, held annually at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

After a 20-month hiatus in the face of an historic postponement of the Tokyo Olympic Games, the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials are back. Stage 3 began today with beautiful conditions that led four top archers to world record scores (pending official verification from World Archery).

The largest indoor archery tournament on the East Coast – the Lancaster Archery Classic – returns to the Spooky Nook Sports complex in Manheim, PA, January 27-30, 2022.

Bowtech pro shooter Paige Pearce and Team USA once again proved they are a force to be reckoned with by winning Gold Medals at the Hyundai Archery World Cup in Lausanne, Switzerland this past weekend. Paige and Team USA made quick work, beating their competitors throughout the Quarter and Semi Final rounds in dominant fashion, finally going head to head with the Russian Federation. Team USA didn’t hold back and sealed the deal with a landslide victory.

As local communities continue to update Covid-19 regulations, Illinois S3DA staff is working diligently with various venues to allow students the opportunity to compete in 3-D competitions across the state. Hamilton County Fox Archery Club located in Southern Illinois hosted their 1st 3-D Regional Tournament at the Rend Lake Archery Complex.

The next big cut was made at the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials – Archery, Stage 3 today, narrowing the competition field from the top sixteen men and women to just eight who will continue on the Road to Tokyo.

CONSERVATION
 
Officials from the Pope & Young Club in Chatfield, Minn., together with noted conservationist and Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris, today announced plans to relocate the Pope & Young Club/St. Charles Museum of Bowhunting and its permanent collection to the campus of Bass Pro Shops national headquarters in Springfield, Mo., home to Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium.

Pope and Young, America’s leading bowhunting organization is excited to announce that Events for the thirty-second Biennial Pope & Young Convention have officially been committed to and locked in. The convention will take place in Reno, Nevada, July 14 to the 17 and celebrate the club’s sixtieth anniversary.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will dole out more than $40,000 in cash, hunting gear and other prizes when the RMEF World Elk Calling Championships, presented by Sportsman’s Warehouse, take place in Park City, Utah, on July 22-23, 2021.

The National Field Archery Association (NFAA) announced plans to roll out the brand new National Outdoor Field League, featuring Hunter, Field and Animal Rounds beginning May 31, 2021.
