Salt Lake City, Utah: The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF), one of the most rapidly growing hunting organizations in the country, is actively seeking applications for its regional director position in the state of South Dakota. Individuals with strong fundraising, organization and interpersonal skills as well as a passion for mule deer conservation are encouraged to apply.

“MDF’s regional directors are the primary face of the organization in their respective states, interacting with our chapters, members and volunteers. This is an important position based in South Dakota, one of the key states for mule deer conservation right now,” said Miles Moretti, MDF’s President/CEO. “We are looking for someone who works well with people to coordinate chapter events, on-the-ground habitat projects and to interact with the other sportsmen's organizations in the state.”

The South Dakota regional director will work closely with the state’s existing chapters and seek to establish new chapters and develop volunteer leaders. Primarily a fundraising position, the regional director will play an integral role in helping chapters organize their banquets, secondary events, youth activities, and conservation efforts. The regional director will also be the primary point of contact with the state game and fish department and other conservation organizations and will need to promote MDF’s conservation efforts with local media and in various MDF publications.
