TAMPA, FL — Meopta USA Sport Optics is pleased to announce that world-class archers Stephan Hansen and Paul Tedford have joined the Meopta Archery Pro Staff.
Currently ranked number one in the world, Stephan Hansen of Denmark has been shooting compound bows since childhood. In 2017, he dominated the men’s compound category winning gold at the World Games in Poland.
“It’s great to be on the Meopta Pro Staff, and I am so happy with my new Meopta binoculars. I can see everything very clearly, and I never have problems spotting arrows, even on the dark animal targets.”
Montana native Paul Tedford gravitated towards archery over traditional team sports growing up and has never looked back. He recently won Men’s Open Pro Champion in this year’s Lancaster Archery Classic.
“I’m super happy to be on the Meopta team and am so pumped to have quality optics! At the Redding Western Classic Trail Shoot, you shoot two arrows at each target and spotting those arrows correctly is one of the most important things for success. An arrow spotted incorrectly could cost you the tournament. I also noticed my eyes never once became stressed after looking through the Meopta glass all day. I truly believe having great optics made my win possible.”
“We are thrilled to have Stephan and Paul on our Pro Staff,” said Chris Berry, Meopta Archery Pro Staff Manager. “They are both extremely talented competitors who value superior optical performance, and we are delighted to equip them with our award-winning Meopta binoculars and spotting scopes.”
