Summit Outdoors is searching for a new Full-Time Sales and Marketing Director (General Manager) to supervise sales, marketing, and customer care staff.
The Sales & Marketing Director will be responsible for delivering KPI performance by driving profitable sales growth, leading and executing strategic product/projects to hit scope, timing, and costs, leading and improving customer care and inside sales initiatives, and driving a culture of passion, energy, and continuous improvement.
This position will require a minimum of a B.A. or B.S. Degree, but an MBA will be considered a bonus. Applicants should have 5+ years experience as a General Manager in the outdoor channel, 10+ years experience working with National Reps/Brokers, and should be capable of championing and communicating the company’s strategic vision. Experience with big-box hunting, national retailers, and hunting dealers is preferred. Applicants should also have a deep understanding of E-commerce Sales and Marketing, a great attitude, energetic, with a deep knowledge of, and passion for, hunting, and exhibit the attributes of a strong project manager and effective leader.
