Two More Podium Sweeps for Mission Crossbowas at ASA Pro/Am, IBO Triple Crown

Sparta, Wisconsin – Mission Crossbow shooters claimed all six podiums at the ASA Pro/AM in Augusta, Georgia and IBO Triple Crown in Pipestem, West Virginia this past weekend.

Both major competitive archery tournaments overlapped, forcing crossbow competitors to shoot for score Friday at the IBO, then travel 355 miles that night to shoot for score Saturday and Sunday at the ASA Pro/Am. Despite his lack of sleep, Jason Wilkins was able to seize top honors at both events. Teammates Johnny Heath and Derek Phillips finished in second and third making it a clean sweep at the IBO Triple Crown on Friday, then Daniel Zintgraff and Derek Phillips tied for second at the ASA Pro/Am on Sunday. Since there is no tie breaker in the ASA Crossbow Known 45 third place was not awarded.

“This past weekend was a whirlwind with lots of bolts and little sleep,” said Mission Crossbow Shooter, Jason Wilkins. “Fortunately, my SUB-1 shot consistently through it all.”

ASA and IBO tournaments test shooter’s skills on 3D targets of various species. These highly competitive tournament circuits tour around the country and feature some of the best shooters in the world.
