Pope and Young Club Announces Leading Ladies Outdoors Clinic

Chatfield, MN - The Pope and Young Club is proud to announce Tammy Koenig of Leading Ladies Outdoors will be putting on a clinic during the 2018 Bowhunters Rendezvous. The clinic will be titled, “Women Bowhunters - Starting The Right Way.”

Tammy has been bowhunting for 40 years and on Mathews pro staff for 22 yrs. Once an anti-hunter, she cut her teeth on bowhunting at a time when very few women would even attempt the sport. A self-taught bowhunter, she has overcome many obstacles along the way. As a result, she has the inside track on what works when teaching a woman not only to shoot but to become a successful bowHUNTER. Tammy’s passion for the sport is contagious. She has been a part of the Outdoor television industry for 17+ years as a part of several outdoor shows including Adventure Bound Outdoors, Mathews TV, Hunters Journal (Outdoor Channel) and her own television show Leading Ladies Outdoors (Sportsman Channel) Tammy has built a 5,000 Sq. Ft Lodge dedicated solely to teaching bowhunting classes in Northcentral Wisconsin with three archery ranges, a 35 x 45 classroom and 145 acres as an extended classroom where she teaches everything from tree stands to food plots.

“Bowhunting is the most fascinating game you can become a part of, said Tammy Koenig. “To figure out a big game animal's next move results in a match of wits that is constantly intriguing, mentally challenging and ultimately (when it all comes together) one of the most rewarding things you will ever do."

Bowhunting Rendezvous attendees will also find themed 3-D courses, a long-range competition, an iron bear challenge, an aerial disk station and a bowfishing fishing demo area. You will also be able to participate in other clinics like the "Raised At Full Draw" mini-camp for beginning bowhunters. There will be an adventure race, kid courses and activities, great food, nearby lodging/resorts, hunt auctions, primitive camping, bowhunting seminars, gear giveaways, prize drawings and much more. Thousands of dollars worth of targets will be auctioned at the end of the 3-day event.
