Bozeman, MT. – MYSTERY RANCH, an industry-leading backpack company, devoted to making mission-specific products introduced the Selway to their Hunting Line of backpacks early in 2018. This light weight, backcountry pack has since been updated to include the all new GUIDE LIGHT MT FRAME™ (Mystery Tech).
At 62 Liters and just 5lbs, the Selway fills the sweet spot between MYSTERY RANCH’s highly successful Pintler and Metcalf packs, and with the introduction of MYSTERY RANCH’s new GUIDE LIGHT MT FRAME, the Selway just got even better.
“The Selway has the weight of a daypack, but easily hauls my gear for a three to five-day backcountry hunt – food, shelter, kill kit, clothes and cook gear all pack away simply with the 3 ZIP design. I can always find what I need in a hurry without a yard sale on the side of the mountain, as well as a small flask of celebratory bourbon that comes out when a tag gets notched.” – Tim Hoffer, Hunting Sales Manager.
The Selway is engineered for hunters who obsess over minimalism. It’s a pared-down, streamlined load hauler that carries ample gear for multi-day backcountry hunts. The new GUIDE LIGHT MT FRAME that now comes standard with the Selway continues the load carriage tradition of the tried- and-true GUIDE LIGHT FRAME™ and its rigid yet dynamic frame system, but with a few discrete changes.
Utilizing custom-developed SJ Autolock buckles throughout, the new hardware collection on the GUIDE LIGHT MT provides the perfect blend of strength and weight. The GUIDE LIGHT MT also features a five-point waist belt that incorporates the highly functional Redirect System, which delivers solid weight distribution and eliminates slippage over your hips, regardless of the load. At the bottom of frame, MYSTERY RANCH has deployed an anatomically correct shape that curves with the body for increased comfort and performance.
