BOZEMAN, Mont. – Today SITKA Gear debuts its all-new Fanatic System at the Archery Trade Show in Louisville, Kentucky.

Completely redesigned for 2019, the new Fanatic System takes the quest for silent hunting apparel to the next level. Informed by research into fabric noise and the science of deer hearing, the new system has been proven to cut the audible engagement distance in half for treestand whitetail hunters. Constructed with ultra-quiet fabrics along with Gore-Tex Infinium™ with Windstopper® Technology, the updated system is quieter and warmer than ever.

“No stone was left unturned to improve the system’s performance,” said Chris Derrick, SITKA Gear’s Whitetail Product Line Manager. “Pockets were relocated to reduce bulk. New body-mapping increases warmth and mobility. Even the zippers were updated for noise reduction when layering or venting. Also, a patent-pending Constant Connect Safety Harness Port in the jacket allows hunters to easily and quickly adjust layers, while keeping safety harness tethers connected to trees.”

The Fanatic Jacket is now offered with left-handed and right-handed shooting configurations. The Fanatic Bib features new burr-resistant fabric to drastically reduce burr pickup without sacrificing noise reduction. The upgraded Fanatic Vest offers added layering options. To round out the system, Sitka introduced a new Fanatic Pack with no exposed plastic parts or buckles, making it the quietest pack SITKA Gear has offered to-date.

As a unit, the newly updated Fanatic System, which is available in the GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Elevated II concealment pattern, is the complete package for whitetail hunters. It allows them the ability to stay comfortable in the stand longer and to move with more confidence.

The new Fanatic System includes the Fanatic Jacket ($449 MSRP); Fanatic Bib ($439 MSRP); Fanatic Vest ($279 MSRP); Fanatic Pack ($199 MSRP), and will be available for purchase in summer 2019.
