Whitetails Unlimited Contributes to Iowa DNR

Whitetails Unlimited made a $2,000 contribution to the Iowa DNR for a video campaign aimed at increasing interest in hunting. There will be two videos produced to air on local Iowa channels starting in August, 2019. The IDNR expects a viewing audience of approximately 10,000.

This video campaign pairs perfectly with the national R3 (Recruitment, Retention, Reactivation) Initiative that most state wildlife agencies have adopted. The R3 plan is intended to increase participation in hunting, fishing, target shooting, trapping and other outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.

“These videos will really help bolster the outdoor involvement in the state of Iowa,” says Whitetails Unlimited Program Services Director Russ Austad.
