We’re seeking a motivated Video Editor to provide leadership and play a key role on our Creative Team. The Video Editor must be an expert in telling stories via video, with experience in video production and visual storytelling—and a reel that shows it. Collaborating with Copywriters, Art Directors, Motion Graphic Artists, Creative Directors and Digital, Social and Media agency partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Editing video footage to create a final product in line with our team's strategic tone and vision.
• Must have a strong sense of editorial, story flow, and aesthetic design.
• Graphics creation using After Effects or similar program.
• Ensure accuracy and executed vision of final product by communicating with producers.
• Manage media storage and retrieval; ensuring all digital files are saved and digitally cataloged appropriately.
• Offer innovative or creative ideas that add value to video projects.
• Continuously learn and implement new editing technologies
• Assist with day-to-day video operations (shoot preparation, production, equipment management etc.).

SKILLS NEEDED

• Proven work experience as a video editor/producer with a strong video reel.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages, including Premiere and After Effects.
• Possess a deep understanding of the digital workflow, camera types, and file formats.
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously while adhering to multiple deadlines.
• Experience in the outdoors, is preferred, not required.
• Position is based out of Aurora, Ohio.
