JAGDHUND Launches New Line of Men’s and Women’s Loden Jackets and Pants

BESSEMER, Ala. JAGDHUND, the Austrian-headquartered clothing line steeped in tradition, quality and innovation, has introduced new lines of loden jackets and pants for both men and women. The new sportier designs feature the JAGDHUND proprietary Campak Loden material, which combines the finest sheep’s wool and camel hair to create a fabric that is durable, lightweight and weather resistant—making them ideal for more extreme hunting conditions.

Joining the JAGDHUND men’s lineup in 2019 are the Zwettl 4 Men’s Multifunctional Jacket and Alpin 4 Loden Pants. The Zwettl 4 Jacket is an updated, sportier design from its predecessor, the Zwettl 3. This modern-cut, lightweight jacket features a dual color appearance and includes six external pockets and two internal pockets. Ensuring warmth of wearer, the Zwettl 4 is impeccably designed with an air trap in the sleeve cuffs and collar, along with two-way zip loops, a chin protector and a warm thermal lining. To go along with the new Zwettl 4, JAGDHUND offers the new updated Alpin 4 Loden Pants with a completely integrated gaiter solution and a sporty modern cut. Like the jacket, the pants have a dual-color visual effect. Two slot pockets in the front and a knife pocket provide plenty of space to store items. Keeping comfort in mind, JAGDHUND designers put removable braces and a light kidney protector band with removable Nirosta steel utility rope in these pants.

For women, JAGDHUND takes hunting clothing equally as serious with the new Wildspitz Women’s Loden Jacket, a sporty, feminine dual-color jacket that features two external pockets and two internal pockets. And like the men’s jacket, it is designed for warmth with its chin protector, two way-zip and warm thermal lining. To complete the outfit, JAGDHUND offers the new Eisenstein Women’s Loden Pants with the integrated gaiter solution and two comfortable zip pockets, along with an integrated knife pocket. These lightweight pants have a kidney protection band, removable Nirosta steel utility rope and a storage space for the rope when not in use. Completing the pants is an ankle finish with Cordura reinforcements and shoe hooks with elastic mounting.

These new Loden jacket and pant ensembles are currently available from JAGDHUND, Zwettl 4 Men’s Multifunctional Jacket has a suggested retail price of $589 and the Alpin 4 Men’s Loden Pants MSRP is $431. The Wildspitz Women’s Loden Jacket is $471, and the Eisenstein Women’s Loden Pants are $366. All four items can be conveniently purchased online in the U.S. through Steyr Arms on the JAGDHUND USA webstore, jagdhund-usa.com. Check the website for current size selections.
