Louisville, KY - Winnebago Archers, in Neenah WI. hosted the Wisconsin S3DA state 3-D championship on June 3rd, 2017. Despite a few raindrops and storms early in the day, the kids and families had fun. Some of the kids were competing for the first time in an outdoor 3-D tournament. Winnebago Archers did a fantastic job getting the range ready despite some flooding conditions from the week before. Everyone was well fed, safe and had fun.
Thanks to all the volunteers, the folks at TUFFY'S Outpost and Lakeshore Bowhunters of Fond U Lac, for donating awards and prizes for the event. Thanks also to the parents of the Blazin Arrows S3DA club for the tasty treats and for
handling registration and tallying the results.

Started in December 2012 by the Scholastic Archery Association, S3DA has grown exponentially as a next step program to follow introductory programs offered as part of 4-H or the National Archery in Schools Program. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving
thousands of young archers, grades 3–12.
