MYSTERY RANCH Supports Effort to Encourage Ethical Hunting

MYSTERY RANCH Shows their Support of an Ongoing Effort to Encourage Ethical Hunting

Bozeman, MT. (May 16th, 2017) – MYSTERY RANCH, an industry-leading backpack company devoted to making mission-specific packs, sees proper hunting ethics as an extremely important topic to the brand. It is no secret that many hunters today don't find ethics in the field to be as important as they should. Which brings us to Hunt Right, a hunter-ethics campaign developed by a concerned group of hunters around southwest Montana. In a recent blog post that can be found at www.mysteryranch.com/post/hunt-right, Mike England, co-founder of the Hunt Right campaign, discusses the importance of this movement.

The Hunt Right group has noticed an increase in unethical incidents – most notably, the White Gulch elk slaughter of 2014 – and decided to raise awareness of proper behavior while afield. The campaign commenced last year and continues to spread across the state, with bumper stickers bearing the Hunt Right rallying cry and ethics cards imparting tips on how to keep one's conduct above reproach.

They have developed www.huntrightmt.com which contains several ethical-hunting resources such as books, DVD's and other online outlets. Hunt Right has also produced a video that encapsulates the campaign, which is currently airing on TV stations around the region. The aim is to both teach and refresh: some hunters never learned proper ethics, while others just need a little reminder now and then.

The work must go on, the word must be spread, and they need all the help they can get. To learn more, get involved, or show your support, visit www.huntrightmt.com and follow the Hunt Right campaign on Facebook.
