Team Easton Dominates NFAA Indoor Nationals

Anderson wins men's compound, new national record by Ellison.

Cincinnati, Ohio- The National Field Archery Association Indoor Nationals traditionally mark the end of the indoor season each year. Once again, Team Easton shooters have capped off a highly successful indoor season with victory in the premiere categories.

In the hotly contested Men's Pro compound category, Team Easton's Steve Anderson rounded out a successful indoor season—highlighted by the USA Archery Indoor Champion title—with a perfect score and perfect shoot-off performance to take first place at the NFAA Indoor Nationals. Anderson went in ranked first place in a tough field of the world's best pro compound shooters including Mike Schloesser, Braden Gellenthien, and Jesse Broadwater.

"Over the course of the last six years we've had a huge influx of international shooters showing the NFAA Indoor has definitely become a world-level event. We had 2,000 shooters in Cincinnati, and we expect to see even more growth for the next few years" said NFAA President Bruce Cull.

Steve's qualification round perfect score was achieved with Easton line-cutting X27 shafts. He then switched to micro-diameter X10 shafts for the shoot-off due to the possibility of inside-out scoring. Steve's strategy paid off, with one end of regular scoring and three nail-biting inside-out shoot-off ends. Steve crushed the opposition with a perfect performance to clinch the National Champion title. Aaron Tedford took the 3rd place podium step with the all-new Easton Superdrive 23.

Team Easton's Brady Ellison shot an incredible Pro Recurve score of 600/114X to set a new NFAA record for the Men's Pro Recurve category and to win the Championship.
