Reo Wilde Clinches Gold at SoCal Shootout

West Henrietta, NY – Elite Archery pro shooter Reo Wilde has once again taken home the gold in the So Cal Shootout, a part of the USA National Archery Series. The event took place at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California, and the finals were held at the San Diego County Fair at the Del Mar Race Track. Wilde has swept the previous three USA National Archery Series events, and remains a strong contender for the Nationals.

The event began Friday amid hot and windy weather. The tournament is shot as a qualifier the first day and then archers are seeded for days two and three. Fifteen arrows are shot and the highest scorer wins. Reo took a solid early lead to clinch the gold in the final day.
"The Victory 37 is by far one of the best aiming and most shootable bows I have ever shot," said Reo. "The wind at this event was really difficult to judge, but my bow gave me a ton of confidence every time I stepped to the line. I had to make every arrow count."

This tournament marks the third of the series and is used to rank US archers and choose the team for the 2017 World Cup. The next event in this series will be the USA Outdoor National Tournament in Decatur, Alabama.
