Hang Your Head High With Head Hangerz

Head Hangerz contribution to the hunting public is so simple it makes many of us wonder "why didn't I think of that?".

The problem with most hanger systems for European mounts is not the design concept, it's the material choice. Sometimes a round peg in a round hole isn't the right solution. Luc Douglas and Nathan Anderson owners of Head Hangers made that realization after working with several prototypes that utilized round stock and rebar.

The problem they encountered, as many of us have, is an animal with a lot of asymmetry in its antlers or horns would rotate on the bar stock.
Their solution was to take a 12 gauge flat stock and fold it to a specific angle that allows the corners of the plate to help stabilize the skull. Instead of one rounded surface meeting another the corners and edges of the Head Hangerz Original or H2 and a little help from gravity lock the skull into a stable position.

The original model fits small game like bobcat to larger game like deer, antelope or bear. The bigger H2 model is necessary for larger animals and has been successfully used on Elk, Buffalo, Longhorn cattle, Moose and Eland. There is no reason to think they won't function as well with Kudu or Caribou. They are perfect for the DIY hunter or the large taxidermist companies that need a better, more economical way for their customers to display their work.

The product is precision cut with a computer aided laser and then powder coated for a durable finish. They currently are offered in both black, tan and off white (bone) with their HH logo and a hole for the single screw used to carry the load of your mount. The Head Hangerz skull mounts are cut, coated and packaged in the state of Kansas and they are proud to offer a quality product that is made in the U.S.A.
Head Hangerz does recommend that either product be fastened to a solid support like a stud or wood backing within the wall. Head Hangerz is also working on a new pedestal mount that should debut later this year.
