While the course will still maintain its original purpose and likeness, it has been significantly enhanced, helping instructors to have a more comprehensive learning experience while taking the Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course.
New course content includes:
Student and Instructor Certification Packets now include a stretch band, USA Archery whistle, revised student exam and updated forms. These updated Level 1 Archery Certification Program student and instructor materials are now available for purchase at
www.usarchery.org for $30.00.
The course will also include the new USA Archery Mobile Coach website and APP - a free phone application for iOS and Android that allows current USA Archery coaches and instructors to view premium video content by scanning QR codes featured in the course materials.

Updates to the Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course were made possible due to a partnership with the Archery Trade Association and with the generous support of Easton Foundations.
USA Archery, the National Field Archery Association and the Archery Shooters Association recognize instructor certification under a joint certification program and also contributed to this effort. USA Archery administers the program on behalf of these organizations.

More About Level 1 Instructor Certification:
The Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course provides graduates with the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range. This course focuses on empowering Instructors to provide safe, informative and enjoyable classes that help participants to fully experience the fun and excitement of archery.
The Level 1 Instructor is prepared to teach archery in a group setting and can lead beginner archery programs for Explore Archery, camps, community organizations, and park and recreation departments. Level 1 Instructors may also assist with USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD), Adult Archery Program and Collegiate Archery Program Clubs.

In its early stages the APP will provide video content exclusively for Level 1 Instructors, including range set up and safety, fitting archers with equipment, steps of shooting, coaching positions, arrow retrieval, equipment inspection and repair, and drills and skills. Future updates to the APP will provide video content for other levels of the instructor and coach certification program.
USA Archery Mobile Coach also provides access to the USA Archery coach locator, certification course schedule, event schedule and online shop.
