Carbon Express Pro Christopher Perkins Win at ASA Classic

Christopher Perkins may not have won the million dollars but he continues his winning season with another first place finish at the AS Classic.

Christopher Perkins wins a very close match this past weekend at the ASA Classic held in Fort Mitchell, AL for the Carbon Express Team. Christopher won the known 50 class by just a single 12 one more than David Houser to break their tying scores of 444.

This win follows a very strong performance in the World Championships in Demark, with Christopher shooting for the Canadian Men's Team and taking Silver in that event.

Christopher most notable finish this year came from his amazing performance at the 2015 NFAA Dakota Classic in Yankton, SD. At that event Christopher was the first shooter in the field to shoot an entire round with a 600, and he also managed to break an event record, shooting an incredible 1199 out of 1200. Amazingly Christopher shot this incredible score while dealing the pressure felt by being in the running for a one million dollar prize. Unfortunately, Chris didn't take the million, missing the cash prize with only one arrow landing just barely outside the ten ring, which was his only miss for the entire tour.

Other noteworthy performances at the ASA Classic for the Carbon Express team included Christopher Bebow and Dewayne Martin placing 1st and 3rd in the Traditional class, Heath Brasher placing 1st in the Unlimited class, and a couple of respectful 3rd place finishes from Dewayne Martin and Cha Chenault in the Traditional and Open Pro classes.

Congratulations to the Carbon Express Staff for another great performance!
