Bloomfield, NY – – CenterPoint® is introducing a new line of crossbows at the 2018 ATA show. Product introductions include the Sniper Elite Whisper™, Volt 300, Primal 330, Aspen Take Down Recurve and the headlining new Mercenary series featuring the Mercenary 370 and Mercenary Whisper™ 390. These new crossbows employ an intelligent and functional blend of both new and existing technology to provide premium performance.
The new Sniper Elite Whisper™ has the same outstanding performance as the original Sniper, sending arrows down range at 370 fps, but the new Sniper Elite Whisper™ features the Whisper Silencing System™ package with integrated string suppressors and silencers for an even quieter shot. It also features a CenterPoint 4 x 32mm scope, a fully adjustable AR-Style butt stock and an adjustable fore-grip with oversized finger guards, delivering a customized and comfortable fit.
The Volt 300 crossbow features a reduced draw weight of 130 pounds for an almost effortless cocking/drawing experience along with an anti-dry fire and auto-safety trigger mechanism. The Volt 300 also includes interchangeable, multi-colored rubber grips, fore grips and butt stock (black, blue and magenta). The customizable, interchangeable colored rubber kit allows the user to personalize their crossbow.
The Primal 330 has an aluminum rail with shoot through riser providing repeatability accuracy, integrated spring stops for a quiet vibration free shot and ultimate stealth performance. It also features a narrow 26.5” cocked/29” uncocked compression fiberglass limbs for compact mobility, an adjustable butt stock and an adjustable fore-grip with oversized finger guards, delivering a customized and comfortable fit.
The Aspen Take Down Recurve bow kit has a draw weight of 45lbs and has a riser blended from African Cherry Rose, White Oak, Maple and Green Wood for a traditional, high quality finish. The Aspen also has limbs made from hard maple and black fiberglass for durability and velocity. It also includes a 14 strand AMO 62” B-50 Darcon string for power. The full kit includes a stringer, rest, finger tab and nock set.
The Mercenary 370 and Mercenary Whisper™ 390 features CenterPoint’s aluminum barrel design with shoot through riser making for a lightweight, high performance model with repeatable accuracy. The Mercenary models also have adjustable tactical stocks with comfort grips for added non-slip performance as well as CenterPoint’s popular anti-dry fire trigger with an auto-safety mechanism, The Mercenary Whisper 390 also features the Whisper Silencing System ™ with integrated string suppressors and limb dampeners for an ultra-quiet, vibration free shot. The Mercenary crossbows have a draw weight of 175 pounds and weigh a mere 6.7lbs. undressed. Both models sell as a complete field ready package including (3) 20” carbon bolts, quiver, rope cocker and a 4x32 CenterPoint Optics crossbow scope.
