MADISON WI, (March 19, 2015) ─ The Field & Stream-Outdoor Life Wisconsin Deer & Turkey Expo has several new items at this year's event, set for April 10-12 at the Alliant Energy Center of Dane County in Madison, plus the return of long-time popular favorites. New attractions for 2015 include activities like home defense readiness and demonstrations, along with ammunition reloading presentations by Dave Henderson. Wild game cooking demonstrations will also take place during the weekend's festivities by Jason Coleman. Attendees can learn to shoot a longbow like Byron Ferguson on Friday night only.

There will be a Trophy Big Game Contest (Whitetail Deer & Black Bear) presented by Budweiser, where entries can be taken from noon on Friday, to 10:00 a.m. Sunday. Seminars will be held all three days, ranging from how-to's on hunting topics, to food plot development and habitat improvement. New products will have a specialty display area, an Outdoor photo contest will be open to amateur photographer attendees, a Trail Camera photo contest is open to everyone, and chainsaw carving demonstrations will be held daily, along with flint knapping.

Byron Ferguson, internationally known archery trick shot, will hold performances on Saturday and Sunday only. Gundersen Clinic Tick & Lyme Disease will have an Information Booth. Mountain Men Camp-Out will return, and is operated by members of the Wisconsin Muzzleloaders Association.
