The 43rd Safari Club International Hunters' Convention in Las Vegas, February 4-7, 2015 brought together hunters from around the world to support conservation and celebrate hunting.

Over 20,000 SCI members from 100 countries, exhibitors and members of the press converged on Mandalay Bay to celebrate hunting and raise funds for Safari Club International missions.

Those attending the convention were able to see over 1,000 exhibitors ranging from outfitters, firearms, artists, jewelers, taxidermists and many other vendors from around the world.

At the convention 80 seminars were held by 40 different speakers. These seminars allowed attendees to learn more about being a better hunter and conservationist and covered a wide range of topics that affect hunters.

"The 2015 SCI Convention was another event that proves hunters are the leaders in conservation," said SCI President Craig Kauffman. "Hunters came together to celebrate and support hunting and I am looking forward to the great things that will be done with the money that was raised at the convention."

The daily, evening and silent auctions ran every day of the convention with hunts, firearms, artwork, jewelry and other products up for sale to the highest bidder. Auctions raised money to support SCI and the SCI Foundation in their efforts to protect and promote wildlife conservation and hunting.

Daily auctions and evening live auctions as well as silent auctions gave attendees the opportunity to purchase nearly $10 million dollars worth of hunts, hunting gear and art from exhibitors at the convention and support SCI conservation efforts.

The total gross revenue for the 2015 SCI convention was $15.5 million. These funds will go directly to support hunter advocacy and wildlife conservation. Funds raised will also support the programs to protect hunter's rights and ensure hunting access for future generations.

Safari Club International's 44th Annual Hunters' Convention will return to Las Vegas, February 3-6, 2016, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
