EUGENE, OR - BowTech Archery has named two new directors to its leadership team as it continues to execute its strategy for continued growth among its industry-leading brands: BowTech, Excalibur, Diamond, Stryker and Octane. John Hernandez has assumed the new position of Director - Vertical Bows, and Sheila Gallagher has joined the company as Director of Sales. Both began working in their new roles on Dec. 9.

"BowTech has a long history of brand and market leadership, as well as a tremendous opportunity for continued growth," said Scott Henrikson, BowTech's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Placing John in this new role and adding an experienced sales leader in Sheila are important steps in building the organization to drive growth plans while maintaining our position as an innovative leader in the marketplace."

In his new role, Hernandez will lead the cross-functional team in the development and execution of Bowtech's vertical bow growth strategy. He will manage the product development group and work closely with sales, marketing, finance and operations on key initiatives in support of the vertical bow business. Gallagher will lead the sales organization and have responsibility for all BowTech and Excalibur brands throughout the US.

"John has been a key figure in our long term success and is uniquely qualified for his position, and Sheila brings more than 25 years of consumer products sales experience and a tremendous track record of success," Henrikson said.
