BowTech Archery Expands Regional Sales Force

EUGENE, OR - BowTech Archery is expanding its sales teams for all of its consumer brands - Bowtech, Excalibur, Diamond, Stryker and Octane - into a single unified organization. The company has also added four regional sales agencies, giving the company an external sales presence in North America for the first time. Both are effective Dec. 1, 2014.

"We believe we have a tremendous opportunity to leverage our industry leading archery brands by going to market with a customer-focused approach," said Scott Henrikson, Bowtech's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "This gives our customers one face - a single point of contact - for Bowtech, Excalibur and all of our brands."

This initiative has already begun in Canada where Bowtech has transitioned from a distributor model to using Excalibur's team selling all brands. Also, as part of its customer-driven strategy, Bowtech is extending its in-market account coverage by engaging a nationwide field sales team.

"We will drive our business by building strong customer relationships through face-to-face interaction, while continuing to provide exceptional internal sales support," said Henrikson. "We will have a presence in key markets across the country with some of the leading outdoor sales organizations."

Bowtech Archery's sales agencies will include Jones and Company covering the East and Upper Midwest; Maschmedt and Associates covering the West; W.L. Carter covering Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma; and Dan Potter and Associates representing Michigan. In addition, Josh Coffman, a company representative, will manage the Pennsylvania market.

The agencies are currently undergoing training and will begin actively selling Bowtech Archery brands effective December 1.
