SC's Sgt. Eddie Monts Named QDMA Wildlife Officer of the Year

Each year, QDMA accepts nominations for its Conservation Awards, and it honors a number of people and groups from around the United States for achievements in whitetail conservation and management. QDMA's Branch Achievement Awards recognize outstanding volunteers who have achieved success at a very high level.

S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Sgt. Eddie Monts was named the Wildlife Officer of the Year. Eddie has served the sportsmen of the Palmetto State working over 28 years with DNR and he has a passion for introducing youth to the outdoors. He serves as a Take One, Make One coordinator in Upstate South Carolina, is active in 4-H youth programs and is the Rack Pack chairman for the Lakelands Branch of QDMA.
