Job description

  • The Executive Director shall be the leader of management, Promote USCAA, support the Mission and Vision of USCAA
  • Vested with the authority to make management decisions on behalf of USCAA. carrying out Corporation's contract and grant obligations
  • Plan guide and direct USCAA overall operations
  • Manage the USCAA finances including preparation and implementation of yearly budget
  • Preparation of annual reports for the annual meeting and for the Board of Directors
  • Serve as Secretary General of USCAA
  • Work closely with the USCAA Board of Directors to conduct yearly planning to develop the goals and strategic plan and present to the Board of Directors for approval
  • Determine and manage the staff needed to effectively carry out USCAA's mission, goals and objectives, within USCA's budget;
  • Preparing plans and procedures for the Board of Directors
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Plan and attend annual meeting and other board meetings/conference calls
  • Along with the Chairman, build and maintain strategic alliances
  • Appoint committees as provided in the Bylaws
  • Attend tournaments/meetings/events as necessary and agreed upon
  • Address/answer emails within 48 hours on business days
  • Answer USCAA phone during core hours and/or as agreed upon

Qualifications -
  • Fiscal experience, preferably with a large organization/business
  • Experience running the day to day operations of a business
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic plans
  • Experience managing staff
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Think creatively
  • Be an excellent communicator with people skills
  • Be able to respond well to pressure
  • Be interested in what motivates people
  • Be able to effectively work with students, volunteer coaches, management of organizations, and potential partners/sponsors.
  • Ability to travel
  • Experience with non-profit organizations a plus
  • Degree in business a plus
  • Archery knowledge a plus
