The Director of Engineering will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, as well as all existing and new product development (NPD) initiatives. The Director of Engineering is charged with ensuring that all new product development initiatives are strategically developed, tested, and successfully launched. Additionally, the Director of Engineering will directly aid in designing, drafting, and developing new products. The Director of Engineering will also institutionalize strategic engineering-centric processes and procedures that ensure optimal efficiency and new product development streamlining. They will provide regular strategic oversight in the areas of new product development, product refinement, process (SOP) improvement, NPD scheduling, and high-level sourcing decisions. Furthermore, the Director of Engineering will operate in unison with senior leadership as to ensure that all defined initiatives and key milestones are met, and on schedule.
